All those players are turkeys. I never said Liverpool had a weak squad only said Kenny wasn't playing the right players. Isn't it amazing what Steven Gerrard brings to the team. They looked like a totally different team when he steps onto the pitch. I have to agree things are looking great
atleast your consistant wolfie
yea it does make a huge difference with gerrard, 12 months without him and you forget just how good he is.
all those years of people calling us a one man team, well we arent anymore, but to be honest there isnt anybody like him in the world either......very unique player
happy new year to all the reds, wish you all good luck and hope it brings us lots of success
have a good new year guys,(you certainly had a better start than we had.)
Hi
Didnt know wether to comment on this but after having read it, took me over an hour I feel I just cant understand how they have reached this verdict.
I am of the thinking that on appeal this could be overturned but not sure wether we should as all the media hoo ha is against us.
My reasoning is that saurez has been found guilty on probabilty and no factual evidence. It was his word against evra`s. Saurez is speaking loudly in the video footage yet no one has actually heard him apart from evra that is and there were discrepensies in his evidence too granted not as much as saurez.
Simply because evra handled giving evidence better than saurez they have deemed that he was more credible and on probabilty was telling the truth, well without factual evidence how can they take his word against saurez although saurez own admission didnt help but isnt that better than lying.
Something not right here and I am not condoning racism but would have liked clear evidence of it in order to find saurez guilty just like cps would throw a case out for lack of evidence.
If on this evidence they have found guilty then John Terry is a goner.
Dont know what they would have done if they took the view of lack of evidence, how would they have diffused, did they need to be seen to be doing something and that had a bearing on their judgement.
If that was me accused I would appeal and fight it but not sure because of media coverage this has had and the way its dragged on what action the club and saurez will take.
Whichever way it goes its not going to be pretty.
Regards
i can't see it being overturned but we should appeal n try get the games reduced if not a suspended sentence
Hi
Thats what I think too zee cant see it being overturned and because of the response from various people over last day or two may lead the club and saurez to change stance and drop it as much as I want to see it appealed.
Regards
i dont think we should appeal it
if he said something 6 times about a players colour....meant in a racist manner or not.....its not allowed.
it is evras word against his, but he hasnt denied saying it, he just said its not racist where he comes from.
but its still no way to refer to somebody in any walk of life...about the colour of their skin.
i reckon we should just move on from it and take the punishment

Andy I think you are only looking an argument with that comment.
1st thing...you obviously did not read it cos if you did you would have seen they clearly stated that they believed LS was NOT a racist, they found him guilty of making a racist comment.
2nd thing...why should we not appeal, LS admitted to calling PE a negritto, now be it for whatever reason, he still said it, there is no one denying that...but PE said Suarez called him it 10 times, then in his official statement he said 5 times, Fergies statement also said 5 times, refs statement 5 times, 4 UTD players statement all said Evra told them 5 times, the panel then decided to charge him for saying it 7 times ............wtf.
So the reason we need to appeal is because they have no evidence he said it more than once, therefore the punishment should have been twice the normal ban which would be 2x2 = 4 games.
@Jaffa, Not looking for any argument and sorry if you thought I was. Ive been brought up if you say something racist you are a racist, its a variation of the I did not mean to push him so hard, the defence will say, you did push him. It does not matter what you meant, in the circumstances there was no need to use such of a word.
Liverpool's antics have only one purpose,to get the attention off that he was charged as being a racist.

WTF you can break an other players leg (possibly end his career), head but him send in the elbow, send in a two footed tackle but mention his colour with out evidence & ya Fcuked
Fair enough Andy but we can agree to disagree, I am 100% sure that if a Utd player was charged for saying something 7 times on the say so of a Liverpool player...you would feel the same way as me.
IF there was evidence he said this 7 times I would say ban him for the 8 games and don't appeal, but we know he says he only said it once....so charge him on the evidence you have...not on a made probability evidence.
No video evidence, no other players in a crowded penalty area heard it and lets be honest, they accepted the word of a player who has previously wrongly accused people of racist comments.
Did Peter Schmeichel get banned...........NO, cos they had no evidence, only the say so of Ian Wright...so whats the difference.
