Kuyt was a great player that did what ever the manager asked of him and gave his all doing it. If Kenny used him more maybe Liverpool would of won a few more this past season. Thats been the problem at liverpool in the last number of years - too many average players and not enough players good enough to wear the liverpool shirt .

kuyt never gave less than 100% but to say he was limited is being kind its because of having players like him we are were we are today, a mid table side, hopefully we can get better coming through the door than going out

He likes his teams to have most of the ball, keeping it for long periods of time, working from back to front, in small little triangles like Rafa use to do. Im looking forward to it i can't wait for the season to begin.

He only cost 10 million to buy, scored more than 10 goals a season apart from last season, hat-trick against us UTD, scored that last min goal and knocked us out of the FA Cup! That extra time goal at Wembley that got you into penalties then scored a penalty for you to win the Carling cup, not a bad player in my eyes, gone off to play in the CL with only a year left at LFC and you still got a million for him.
