im not doubting kenny, but this transfer has really made me angry

i can accept buying downing, just about, but if we sign another average english player for 10 million+ it will piss me off

we need top quality now, as ive been saying for the last 2 months

we can afford to wait if they arent available, and if we sign bent we are just making the same mistakes we have over the last 20 years.

kenny or no kenny, that will piss me off, we need to bloody learn from our mistakes not make them over and over.....

I don't want to see Bent as much as the rest but what you gna do if he signs, we'll have to back him even tho i can only see him lasting 2 seasons max like Collymore.

hmmmmm thats the problem though

all us fans will support him, but with the "we knew he wasnt good enough" in th back of our minds

very similar to the treatment downing has got from day one.......many fans hated the thought of him playing for us, tried to support him but slate him at every opportunity.......and it really hasnt helped him

bent went missing at spurs, he went into his shell, it could easily happen at liverpool again

just look at the monster andy carroll was at newcastle to the bambi on ice we have at liverpool

prem expereince doesnt count for everything.....liverpool is a club with huge expectations, we want the league title, so every player joins knowing thats the minimum. big pressure playing for liverpool these days.....

darren bent isnt mentaly strong enough to cope with it.

i said on another post kenny really wanted him last january and there was definate interest/enquiry

but from the stuff ive read, many people felt it wasnt a big enough signing for the new owners and for the fans....

especially considering how our form was last year, i think if we tried to sign him the fans would have gone mental

Liverpool have scored exactly the same number of goals after 20 games (24) as last season when Roy Hodgson was sacked. So how come it was alright for the fans to blame Roy and now with ken nee and the team only scoring the same ammount of goals, don't say because off your position in the League because you still can not make the top 4.
Stewart Downing has now taken 46 shots for Liverpool in the Premier League and is yet to score. He's also yet to claim an assist in 20 PL games, some record buy their ken nee

first of all, he wasnt a record buy

what has goals got to do with anything?

under roy, we lost and were out played at home to wolves, blackpool and countless other teams

dont see many teams outplaying us this year

especially not newcastle

who are shite and we hardly gave them a shot

how did you lot get on against them?
