Roy Hodgson biggest mistake is the formation he puts out on the pitch. 4-4-2 don't work. the second striker gets in the way. Torres is much more affective up front alone. Roy needs to play a 4-5-1 and play babel on the Left.

I'm not saying to keep Babel I'm just saying for tomorrow game. I know everyone was pissed when he came on against wolf's but he was the only one trying? I think Babel a better choice than Maxi cause he has pace. I'm sorry i think Babel has talent he just not use right and would be better served playing somewhere else but for now who else is going to play.

Think he needs to drop Kuyt and Give Jovanovic a run-out, I watched a recording of our 1st game this season v Arsenal, Mascherano playing etc... Jovanovic looked powerfull in that game, Roy wont ****ing play him.

Joe Cole got lucky the ball came off the defender cause he was offside but Liverpool needs a little luck. I still would like to see only Torres up front. I have to say it was great to see Liverpool win i hope they can build off the win

We depend too much on Gerrard, do you guys think Roy's going to be given any money to spend?

Who would you bring in to bolster the squad?

There no doubt about that Liverpool totally depend on Gerrard. It's going to take a while to de rafa the team. Rafa had the team scoring going thru Torres and Gerrard most of the time so when either were hurt Liverpool struggled. If Roy's idea of player spending is players like Konchesky god help Liverpool. I would make offers for Bastian Schweinsteiger and Karim Benzema

Default Liverpool owners start manager hunt - reports

Roy Hodgson appears to be on the brink of losing his job as Liverpool manager as widespread reports claim the club's owners have started a search for his replacement.

A number of British newspapers have reported that American owners Fenway Sports Group, headed by John W Henry, has already decided to end Hodgson's Anfield nightmare as soon as a suitable replacement is found.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle, who brings his surprise-packet team to Anfield on Saturday, has been touted along with Frank Rijkaard, Porto's Andre Villa Boas, Borussia Dortmund's Jurgen Klopp and Didier Deschamps as possible contenders for the Liverpool hotseat. The owners are reportedly reluctant to sack Hodgson and install a temporary manager such as club legend Kenny Dalglish, and the unavailable of some candidates could give Hodgson extra time before the axe falls.

Every paper is going with the Dalglish to step in story and twitter etc is on fire with the same stories... Some say Tommo to be his No2.. Now I'd take that combo, Tommo proved to be a good assistant, hopefully Sammy would stay on in some capacity....

    Is this a Bootroom revival..???

Bill & Bob would be pleased

Crowd really got behind the team 2nd half, ~~~~ me even the centenary was singing at the end!! Good end to that game. We dominated 2nd Half. Dying to know what Roy said in the dresser?

I doubt he said much to be honest.. i think the players wanted that win more than the manager.. he said he would have been happy with a point.. i dont think the players felt the same..

And that's exactly what i mean when i say the clubs too big for him. He thinks it would have been acceptable to draw at Anfield against Bolton. He hasn't quite got to grips that he is managing Liverpool fc, one of the greatest clubs in world football.

Your lot could do worse than getting Ian Holloway into the club, he's doing fantastically well over at Blackpool. Cant be any worse than woy surely, i mean at least with Holloway you get passion and fight and his teams play attacking football.
Quote of his from MOTD "i might put in a cheeky bid for Tevev as Blackpool's a bit closer to home"

Here's his reaction to moving the World cup to the winter.

    Fast becoming a legend IMO
