    Default Starview PVR Fix--Update--

After installing this update you might get the installation screen every time you switch it off then on.This worked for me, give it a try and let me know if it works for you.
(It might just work after a factory reset, but these are the steps I did and no more installation screen after it has been powered off)

To overcome this, do the following:

    1.do a factory reset,
    2.rescan all the channels,
3.turn the emu on, the key lock on, and the menu lock if you want (0000)
4.deleted all channels before BBC1,left the epg channel
    5.Formatted the hard drive
6.switch box on and off to see if it has worked.

If you get the installation screen you can just press ok then exit to get to the channels.

Excellent, maybe a Mod or Admin will add it to the sticky at the top of the forum so everybody can use it ?, must admit that was the only thing ( installation screen on start up) that annoyed the f$%K out of me about this firmware.

Cheers Dell, I would but I think I will merge it with the existing one that's there. A factory reset, turn menu lock, keycode emu on, has the desired result just people are not doing that after flash.

mmmm is this a fix for the codes rolling back or a new firmware for - the BOX PVR because i would love a new firmware but if it is just a fix to stop the codes rolling back i loaded the last codes 7 days ago and it is still working so i do not see the point of formating my HD and deleiting all my recorded programs if it aint a new firmware :
