you need to clear the eeprom too..

read out the eeprom and put it in to the ecusafe programm and you will check yourself what to do ...

If you turn off the switch and not fap ECUSAFE, the lights fade dtc

the same can disable the flash so there would be no mistake I tested it already

i think that your dash advertisse you that dpf level is so low
so try to reset level fap with diag interface(more easy) and repport

    I had P2002 and P0473
    Fap level was 56 g - normal
I tried with regeneration -without result
I think may be my MPPS is not correct to write
I compared 2 files: 1-vw dpf off with ECU safe and other file- I read after writing
    I found differ in 1FDF7CH - 1FE000h
    may be this is problem?

so this is the different regeneration that can be ordred by ecu in VW passat 2.0 tdi 103 kw BMP fonction level dpf:
    1 passive regeneration
    2 active regeneration
    3 customer regeneration on road
    4 maintains regeneration
    5 replace dpf
the information that arrive to dash is level dpf 59 make message dpf on
this information is calculated by different sensor:differential sensor, and 2 sensors temperature for exaust gaz
so,try to add resistors for this sensors and see in your diag interface to have the lower value for level dpf
0 - 24g the message dpf will keep off
