    Default Hi-Tech sat receiver

    Hello
    I bit of advice please I have got a new Hi-Tech sat receiver all was well for a few days but now it keeps freezing and going out of sync ( a bit like a bad kung fu film) the bloke that I got this from assures me that the receiver is okay and that the server that it is connected to is running fine and I am the only one of his customers to have this problem I have updated the software at his request I have also had the dish tested buy a sat engineer, my broadbandis runing at constant 20 Meg I have installed a new Ethernet cable to the modem without the router connected my question is have I been ripped off here any advise would be helpful the last thing that i want is to start naming names
