    cause it's an addon.To confirm if you have it press "8281"
    while watching a channel then put in your pin if you did not change this in your setting it's "0000" if you don't remember
    try "2011"

    do i need to be connected to the internet and have a dns account or should evey thing just work in this experiment with the patch downloaded and applied from the usb please forgive my ignorance i am not very technical

    Default tm5402hd patch

    i am still struggling with this experiment i have applied patch and addon and reloaded channel list.do i need a dns account of my own or do i use example.dns do i need to connect to the internet for the patch to work or should it just work my email is ( no addys )if anyone can explain please help and forgive my lack of intelligence

    some users say they get better results with static.
    my tm's have been working fine for years with dynamic

    Hi. I am curious to know which add on file you are refering to. If you are referring to the softcam keys file you will find in your CAS menu where the keys are stored. If you are talking about the patch you will see the latest version in SYSTEM INFORMATION menu under s/w version. This applies to TM receivers.

    we are talking about the addon file for c.s.
    to get the secret menu "8281" to put in c/n lines
    and latest softcams you would get here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/f120/
    and latest patches for any model you would get here http://download.for-better.biz/bbs/main.php
    just click on the model/series you own and the latest patches for you will pop up

    i don't think it has the lanport does it ?
    it would be sssp then with a sharing pack on the computer and null modem lead very outdated

    Hi. Thanks for the reply. Theres no lanport on my TM5400 but its got sssp somewhere in the menu but what it does i dont have a clue. Is this sssp any good for anything or is it just for show? Any advice much appreciated.
