Hi
I have a problem with my volvo s60 dashboard.
dashboard not working at all
Just a check engine light working - nothing else
here is full eeprom and flash from dashboard
VCC P/No 9499669
S/No 14615
yzk p/no 69294-590t
memory type: HC912D60

I resolder all board and change 2x100uF capicitors
+ I chack supply voltage and all is correct
Possible MCU is dead or software is corrupted
There was some corroded solder but still not working
Is anybody know what can be wrong

If you read all from this dash this there is not complete software or damage. Search this forum flash files dash and you see differences.Unless it is clear from reading the other way.

I don`t have a dump from this type of DIM but if you have an wrong dump you should see some caracters on the clock display and odometer display. You only need to power the DIM and light the display with a flashlight .

This is not the dash is damaged, the problem is not here. Check Engine indicator is directly controlled by the ECU. See on the gray wire from DIM plug. Check engine indicator can be turned on by connecting the gray wire to GND. This is happening in the ECU.

I have same problem in S80, changing dash from another car solved problem.

I bought a dashboard from scrap yard for 40 pounds and all working fine
