    Default WRT54GS version 6 unbricking

I wonder if anyone can shine some light on a problem I have whilst de bricking my wrt54gs v6. I'm using the jtag cable with hairyDairyMaid software on windows XP Pro computer.
When I run the cmd window and run the software using -probeonly I get a message back to say no cpu detected.
I've belled the bought jtag out and every thing is 100% with everything on the right pins and resistor value checked with meter. I've checked the solder onto the router board where the 12pin connector has been connected. Nothing is shorted, checked pins to point on the board via tracks to make sure connecter is connected correctly.
Just wondering if the flash chip is goosed!
Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated.
    Cheers

I would love to figure out how to de brick my wrt54gs v7 router. I am in the process of creating a jtag cable for use. Any way you can help me get a cable made? Is it possible to make one with a usb interface? This will be my first jtag / de bricking experience. This is my first post and I am hoping it will be enough to at least let me download a file I found on this forum that is supposed to guide me in making a jtag cable.
