i have a problem .audi a4 1998 all key are lost
i tried to program a key with t300 and sbb ,but i need pin code,
i have also vag tacho 2.5 but dont try.
so,what is the steps to get pin code.
also i want to know properly immo location

read ecu and post dump,, i?m sure you will get immo off dump.

you should have a white immo box near the steering colom area. if not then you might have a manetti marreli cluster.(immo inside cluster).

really i was looking for immo everywhere but didnt find near to steering column ,also didnt find in dashboard.
only found ecu (siemens)
it is in the engine bay,under wiper ,when i opened it i found eeprom 93c56 .
the quesrion :i am in the right way?

Hi, for all .& THANKS for every body trying to give help & information ...
dear to get fast way if you dont have scanner, to see if your immo is in the dash or if you have immo box ,begin to follow from steering lock ,(you have ring arownd of steering lock)this ring he read your key transponder.so you can follow the wire of this ring this wire he must go to dush or to immo box.after whan you fond the location ,you can know every thing about the car,after you begin read the dump after calculate to get the pin code.this is my small mail wich i am filling happy to write it.

I had issues the other day with a seat , tryed to make key , in the end was just easyer to remove engine ecu like you have done and make it immo off , what is the part num of the ecu will see if i have immo off file for you.

1) IN THE FIRST STEP THE CAR IS NOT START BECAUSE HE lost key . AND AFTER THE MAN TELL IN HIS MAIL HE NEED TO KNOW LOCATION OF IMMO.I TRY TO GIVE FOR THIS MAN SMALL INFORMATION I THING IS NOT BAD CAN YOU ASK HIM .
2)ABOUT YOUR ANSWER AND WHAT YOU WRITE year immo should be in the dash.Try start a car without dash and you will know is it in the dash.
3)IF THE MAN HE LOST THE KEYS AND THE CAR IS NOT WORKING OR NOT START,

Sorry,I was't attentive about keys....Audi A4 from 1997 immo is in the dash.You can use pin only to start a car.A pin you can get using tacho 2.5,but it depends of which manufacturer made a dash.Tacho working not for all dashes.If you have VDO it's OK,but if you have UK-NSI....sorry
