make sure u have a usb stick plugged in or other hard drive and just press record on your starview remote, press stop when u have finished and just press plug and it will show u whats on your usb stick and press ok on the stuff u have recorded, simples
its like anything else...just press record on the remote, its in red, then just playback as normal,,,,,,
are you guys serious or what? cos i recorded only 3 weeks ago on my sv 6 and played back, using a usb hard drive....i must have had my sv6 from outer space....blimeyyyyy

to be honest i didn't try it with the first showmustgoon update so i cant say if i could record on it then because ive only tryed it today with this new update

well...i can tell you theres nothing new on this update today...cos i recorded about 9 times before todays firmware.
My box is saying not connected I've updated to new firmware which hasn't fixed the problem been through the usual steps like turning router off and on and tried a factory reset but nothing has helped, please can some help me don't want to miss football on Saturday

well part of the update that was released today, the kiddy said it was also to sort out the freqency update that virmin do now and again when they change it, so he said this update should sort that problem out so we dont keep losing channels all the time, this is what he said about a week ago on another forum, but only time will tell

hi thanks for info on recording ive got a 2gb usb stick do u know how long recording time i have on that thanks again
im not sure how long to be honest but i dont think you will get much on a 2gig stick, better with an external harddrive, you can get a 500gig one cheap theses days
