no !. if you tray other mcu, you erase flash in motorola.
must read by
motorola xgate can erase flash when you select wrong mcu

Hi,many thank for your help to read cas3 bmw!
I need your help for a good files.
In this car somebody have changed the km in the past and now a BMW car service try recode this CAS for updating software but not accept the new coding and now the car won't start.
Could you help me to repair my files,with a good dump ,please?
I have attached file and infos

I read mc9s12xdp512 as DG256 with upa - Galaxy dash and i doesn't erase flash.
When I read mc9s12xdp512 as mc9s12xdp512, the dump was corrupted.

waldi> upa its not xprog. xprog sometimes erase when select wrong device. 9 devices work ok , 1 erase.
always must select correct device if is secured.

yellow is reset
blau is xclock
red is vcc
black is gnd

I have a problem with CAS3 9s12dpx512 and XPROG M.Can not read, will stop at bypass security. I put CAS 3 in Car and no ignition, key remote work.
how can you read this?

Hi

is strange ... you're using x-prog original or clone?
I have done many cas 3 with XDP512 (0L15Y) using X-prog original, and never had this problem.
I think you should look for a good dump to flash (same # of FSV and SW) and write your cas ...
I just do not I have this ...
