In my cable set 4 of 8 cables are defective. Volvo 8 pin with power pins inverted, and iveco the others with pin K line changed...

Really very bad and dangerous cables...

Yes ,
volvo is 8 pin not 12 ,my mistake,and power and gnd are inverted.

In other cable's k-line is on pin 1 for scania,
pin 3 for renault 12pin,
pin 2 for iveco(30 pin)
pin 3 for man 37 pin,
man 12 pin is ok.

Guys, is it technically possible to use CARS and TRUCKS Autocom softwares on Truck interface only?
Now TRUCKS version runs fine, and CARS drops and error crying for correct HW ID number after checking the interface.

I tested this clone unit on few cars from 2001 up to 2008 without any problem, made few coding and configurations. Looks good. But as I can see only main menu are translated to local language, but error codes and descriptions are on english.

I can confirm similar expiriences with Autocom clone and software release 2011.1

Tested sucessfully even with older cars like Renault Laguna I, Opel Astra G, Citroen C3, Renault Megane, Fiat Stilo, Hyundai Tucson, Mercedes A 170, ...

Only problem was FIAT Stilo, motor ECU connected only trough EOBD option. Tested sucessfully even with DELPHI software.

Regard language options and translation, only a menu and menu options are localized properly on Serbian, all other including error descriptions and service procedures are good old plain english.

Just for info: I can confirm that same hardware is for TRUCKS and CARS, Tested on 24V with adapters on Mercedes Actros truck 1999, and Iveco Daily.

Yes, I can confirm that CARS and TRUCKS software works on same interface.

But you must program your Atmel Attiny 45 with correct VCI ID, which supports both CARS and Trucks softwares.

You can even use Autocom clone with Delphi software. (again with correct VCI HW ID).

If you mean that the interface will do automatic changes of active pin of OBD connector, then you are right, it will do automatic multiplexing. You do not need any additional manual switchbox/breakoutbox to change active pin.

Can anybody confirm that interface for cars can work with truck software? Is there any possibility to destroy interface if working on 24V or 28Volts?
