This MCU is for Ford protocol
Change this and your autocom will work on Ford cars non-CAN.
This method is tested by a friend.

Can you try your autocom on BMW E60 or E90 from 2004 to 2007?

I'm trying to figure out if the FORD problem is corelated with BMW preoblem...

No m8. Ford ECU use SAE protocol J1850 and comunicate on pin 2 and 10.
BMW use k-line (pin 7) and another protocol (kwp2000 or another).

Do you think about pin 1?
Pin 1 it is ingnition ON
    Pins 7 and 8 K-line ( but not in all car )
    Pins 4-5 - GND
Pin 15 - L- line ( but just in cars up 1997 - ADS protocol ) - you do not need it in OBD cars
    Pin 16 - +12V
    Good luck

    Hi!
I know the pinout, all seems OK, but some autocom's won't work on these cars... I wont to know why!
If I use Generic OBD function can comunicate with ECU!

One of the Guys I know tested on Peugeot 307 2003, and the problem was that Autocom didn't communicate with any module; so please get test for this model, fault XS evo interfaces were used not to scan it too, something special for PSA cars related to Their VAN protocols. PLease make full ecus tests on this model to confirm Autocom working on them.

I would sure try m8 but I think will be a while before I will come across one. Today tested successfully on Shitroen Jumpy year 2007 diesel, BMW 520 petrol year 2000, Ford Fusion diesel 2004 (probably on CAN protocol) also tested on Focus diesel year 2000 but only worked on ABS and another 1-2 modules (can't remember which ones) not working on ecu and other modules.

My Autocom works fine with Citroen.
    Tested with:
    C5 2003 2.0HDI
    Berlingo 2.0HDI and 1.6 Petrol
    C3 1.4 HDI
    Peugeot 307 1.6Hdi and 2.0HDi

But it doesn't works with honda Jazz old model- tested on 2 cars.

It must be problem sowewhere in electronic, and must be couple producers of Autocom's.
