Abrites BMW Commander wont program CAS Remote Key?

Ok sure it programs the transponder chip fine in the CAS Key but it wont program the Remote side of the key, anyone successfully done this? I have tried this so many times and car starts fine everytime but the remote features never work, tried 4 keys and no success everytime. If you have successfully done this then what keys are you using as its obviously the keys that are the problem as I have now tried 3 different tools with same result on all. Anyone shed some light on this? thanks guys

Are you using the correct frequency remotes for your country m8??????

yup, here we use 315 and 433, this car is 315

no from Bulgaria but they definitely dont work, anyone know somewhere else to get them?

I got the same problem with bmw commander.

I have spoke to miro and he says its key fault/problem, but i can see more ppl complaining about remote not working after programing cas with avdi.
Car will start up but remote will not work. Key remote freq is matching original key + cas data!

thanks for telling me this buddy, now i know its not just me. Has anyone actually successfully managed to program the remote side of a CAS Key? I have tried everything and spent thousands on this so far with no success. I dont think these CAS keys are possible to do, who wants to prove me wrong?

has the key been precoded

My score is 6 failed & 1 success. Bmw cas3/4 key programing is more a theory! Dont get me wrong, key starts the car, but remote worked only once out of 6 attempts!! Thats alot of money waisted, how much should i charge a customer? $5k for a spare key?
I dont want to go into how much bmw commander costs!

I earn more with ews keys then with cas!

1 success is better then i have had mate. i must have tried atleast 14 times now and everytime the car starts but the remote doesnt work. Yeh i make alot more money on ews keys aswell, i have done so many of those now i could do them blind folded. Where do you get your cas keys from mate? i got mine from here

it was a complete waste of money though and you have to buy a minimum of 5, i have lost so much money on these

Hence the reason we waiting for Advanced Diagnostics to finish BMW CAS Programming, expected to be released in next couple of months.

for which model you talk exaclty? ALso what transponder have inside key?

All new models with key without ignition(and early E6X serie with regular ignition) except F series. With Hitag2 transponders.

interesting. But again without using OEM keys it will be interesting to see how good this will work as Abrites BMW CAS programming is pretty much the best out there at the moment and it doesnt work either, i wont be keeping my hopes to high

Agree, but at least it won't cost the earth. I was thinking of investing into vag commander but one of friend who owns an original one worth ?4.5k say its not worth the money. So am not so sure, might as well stay with tried and tested. honest opinion not being biased.
