It's under middle console. If You will put Your hand on left from clutch pedal and will pull some wires which are hanging under center console You should pull it out from there.

By the way...it's not 4JX1 engine code?
....if it is i can bet it's came to You as non runner!

On the paperwork it does say 4JX2 but that could have been a typing error, maybe a fat bird with sausage fingers hit the 1 & 2 at the same time and the 2 clicked 1st. It didnt come in as a non runner, it runs but he said its a little under powered and the light is on, any idea how I can read or get blink codes

If This is 3.0litre one with 4jx1 engine(should be),there are no blink codes. You need Carmanscan, TECH2 or something what can read it.
You are lucky as yours is running. I always have seen only dead ones. Be careful with that engine as there is interesting fuel injection system and interesting faults. Better say customer that You don't know anything about these cars and send it away to somebody who can read it.
    Cheers!

So, what stops them from you do run run, to you don't run run?

We had one 'some time ago' had mouse in it, never did make it run
VERY VERY RARE we don't fix (or totally kill) something.

    thanks meat

    O Yeah!
    That was good!

First of them took me two months to sort it out. That bloody thing ruined my brain!!!
Then things started to go even worse! Owner of that car found some friends with more 3.0 liter ones....
Still can't get rid of them.

    Cheers!

To work on these with any chance of a proper fix, you need a Tech 2, a workshop manual and a pretty good knowledge of how the heui fuel system works.

We get our fair share of them, Holden dealers dont know about them any more, which is good for us.
