    Default system date keeps changing

    Hi All
    Every time I switch my pc on the date is wrong , could it be a flat battery ? The reset date is always the same .thanks regards .

    Yea there will be a cell battery on the main board of the pc, change this, and should be fine again. When a battery dies it goes to default setting with date and time too

    Hi

    As said above its the battery on the mobo, the date as well as some bios settings wil default usually its the date and time.

    Change it and all should be back to normal.

    maybe it will working but long ago i got same problem and change BIOS battery but same problem still happen even have change value in BIOS for date etc....
    so i got new one MB (because the problem happen to my old MB)...it's fix everything.
