    Default EMCP 3.2 Caterpillar Malfunction

Greetings, I have a trouble with a EMCP3.2 mounted on a C27 Genset. Happens that when the EMCP3.2 is energized with 24Volts the LCD shows:

    S/Wa long number)
    V: 2.2 prod.

Engine was working ok, but operators use to shut down the equipment by opening the master switch. So I did the following test. According to the diagram of the EMCP3.2 (found on CatSIS) the positive and negative are connected to the pins 52 and 65 on the EMCP3.2 and when I energized only with this cables sometimes the EMCP worked ok and sometimes didnt. I wonder if this controller is damaged, If it needs to be replaced or if it could be an option of flashing this controller with ET. I hope this forum can help me.

Thank you for your kind attention
