    Default Sci-Fi Channel?

Here's a problem. Not a big problem. I'll survive but it's just driving me mad.
Having recently got setanta back i have noticed sci-fi channel has disappeared.
I rescanned channels and rebooted. Sci-fi reappeared but I lost setanta again.
I got setanta back again using same method as i had before but sci-fi gone again.
As I say, it's not a big issue and i'm not trying to cause a big furore over this. It's just a puzzle. Any help solving it will be good nice, ta.

Trick is to transfer your channel list after every scan with Opendbedit. Then run two sessions of Opendbedit and cut and paste to make your final channel settings and then transfer back to dreambox.

    Its great software.

    huh?
just look in all services (red button) sci-fi channel is there. menu add to specific bouquet. then delete your crappy non-working sci fi.
btw does setanta just say removed service? you should still be able to watch

I apologise profoundly for my spelling mistake. Please, feel no need to hunt me down and kill me. I assure you all my own self-woe is justice enough.

Wouldnt the best solution be a scan function that was incremental not destructive i.e it adds any extra channels found without removing any.

My bloody DB500 regularly loses SCIfi. Almost every scan finds something "new" but loses another. Right now I have SciFi but no Sky News.. so big deal
