Installed 07-2011 on Dell d630 en HP, both with native serial port. Faced some probs as mentioned in this thread.
Some tips:
- Replace the Commonlic.dll in C:\Documents and Settings\owner\Local Settings\Temp\{6E8BCD31-9798-4A4B-94C4-55DD941952E5} \{22A937EF-8C64-11D7-A9EE-00D009D07BEF}.
- You will probably get an error with APPID / License is not correct. At that point, replace the dll again and ignore this error
- Change my computer name with a name listed in C:\Documents and Settings\owner\Local Settings\Temp\{6E8BCD31-9798-4A4B-94C4-55DD941952E5}\{22A937EF-8C64-11D7-A9EE-00D009D07BEF}/kundendaten
- adapted version.txt in dasunst and enabled das lizenz und wis lizenz
- Afterswards, enabled SDI (fix did not work) by
sc create SDImpersonationService binpath= c:\winxp\zak\service.exe
otherwise SDNC.exe does not work and Xentry will not startup (gives a 2200 error or something like that)

If you do need to ask this, then you should actually use the new zolookas guide for 2011. Available from this forum. Then you do not need to worry about the file and where to put it.

Could you post me full istruction to update it from 03/2011 to 07/2011 please?? Thank you

OK, then I explain you my problems:

I must only update the system from 03/2011 to 07/2011.

I have follow your guide, but it give me error on Xentry ID and I have replaced the file CommonLic.dll (file that you share compress named CommonLic_07.rar) into C:\....\Temp\(and strange folder)

It go next and give me partition problem, and I go next closing the error page through TaskManager, but after the "...the system are writing the icon..." it give me the famous error!!!

Now how I can install it??

PS. when I load your prepare.bat, when it must close the SD Impersonation, it say it's impossible close it!!! Is it the problem?

People have already suggested to you what to do, but you keep insisting.Download & read the guide below.It is an automated process.If you have read any of the threads you would of known that it has been suggested that a clean install is best.So try the guide first
