    Default XPROG-M V5 bad contact

    hello the DKs
    I (xprogm v5), I want to read 5P08
    He brought out a window (bad contact at pin 8)
    what's the problem ?????
    PLEASE HELP ME

    exactly that mate, bad soldering or dirty connection on pin 8 or you have the chip around the wrong way (hope its not that though)

    Do you resolved problem? I have problem too with same 24cXXX eeproms ,, bad contact on pin 6,, . Try uncheck DEVICE INSERTION TEST in options, I soloved problem and read OK if uncheck this option.

    Open program, go in Options/ Enviroment/ Modes , and uncheck DEVICE INSERTION TEST

    I read with xprogm v5 95p08
    while the dump is FFFFFFFFF
    IS NORMAL
    THERE IS AN EXPLANATION ??????
