    1. Remove dongle from PC
    2. Uninstall Orange Software
    3. Uninstall Mobile Partner Software
    4. Reboot PC
    5. Reinstall Mobile Partner
    6. Reboot PC
    7. Insert Dongle - Stop the Orange Software trying to Install is needs be.
    8. Now check to see if it is or is not working...

Having two lots of software on the same PC can sometimes cause issues...

    Post the results...

I'm not sure what the story is?

    Does it find a network:

    With an Orange SIM?
    With a Giff-Gaff SIM?

If it's still locked and you plug it in and Mobile Partner can see the device it will ask for the unlocking code!

pop the top off the dongle and you'll see this printed on the top next to where the sim card fits

    The -Z means it's a ZTE device!

    You can do it at:

Unlock phone, modem, data card with DC-unlocker software

    But sadly not for free!!

Please remember that this is the only Huawei Modem Unlocking thread that is supported! You will not get answers in any other thread except this one!

However, if you have a Huawei E58xx go here as it's a Wi-Fi device:

    Unhappy E353

I have an E353 Huawei Dongle on 3uk can this be unlocked for free using the codes ? I generated codes of

    UNLOCK CODE : 37836217
    FLASH CODE : 47270721

using the imei number on the dongle and downloaded mobile partner, I have put a giffgaff sim in it and put it in my usb slot but it doesnt ask me to enter a unlock code using the 3 connect software or the mobile partner software ? Am I doing something wrong ?

    Regards
    Jay
