Default life span of openboxs tuners ?

anyone having any probloms with the signal droping to signal intensity is 45% and the quality is 5%.
seams to be very intermitant atm, thinking it may just be a bad batch of caps , also iv noted that the tuner is geting walm/hot but before it was stone cold , odd

if so id like to here

You should not believe all you read on the internet, I've had my S9 since July or August 2010, and I can not remember how many firmware instalations, or other software uploads I have made, and I have not experienced a single issue, so far.

I think your watching too much TV.

This is not Mission Impossible, where a device will self destruct after a certain time period.
Have you even considered the fault may be something else, apart from this conspiracy theory you have about the Chinese.

Oh, and my OpenBox was from one of the first batches, and it's not been a victim, but there again I live in the real world.

I would have thought someone like yourself, would have had more common sence than to be making such posts.

In your first post you claim you have been getting info
    iv getting info
In your second post you state your not reading the internet it's a fact
im not reading on the internet its a fact
So may I ask how your getting this info ...
It's not from a rival manufacturer, who's sales have dropped since the Openbox was relesed, and may be trying to put people off from buying the Openbox.

I find it rather hard to take your posts serious, especially when you tend to contradict yourself.

Yep, I'm trying to find a solution to that exact problem!

Here's my thread: S9 losing signal

Hope we can find a solution....
