Hi DK mate, very sorry to revive this old thread but I'm facing the same problem, I need to program this Ford Ranger odometer but don't have any idea for the connection attached..where is that 1 and 2 connection going? I'll be using UPA, what chip should I select?

Its hard to use xprog with that chip, i would prefer upa for this one

yes with tacho clone put wires like the post above show and select ranger 05-,then it show u ??????? as old mileage which is ok and put new miles data will be in miles so if want in km convert to miles and put as new value and press ok and after 20 sec. trip become activate in the display of cluster and programming done.

everybody,i got a new problem.
The mileage problem is solution
but after i assembles the meter ,start the car
the Injectible oil emulsion,rpm..will up but dont down

what the problem about this?????

Hi mate,all the meter working now exe speedometer.
i have resolder all ,i have try 12v positive and negative on table,the speedometer will move but at the car the speedometer not working.
did someone teach me how i solution the problem?
help!!!!
