Default My OpenBox S10 doesn't turn off by remote control!

I have the last firmware in the receiver.

When I try to shut down by remote control,
the display goes off, no function works, but
continues to run the tuned channel and have
voltage feeding the dongle (rear output v 12).
    Some information about this bug?
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello, Mr. Lee.

    This explanation not work.
I insert new firmware, of the Skybox, (attached)
and now is OK. But the 12 volts - rear connector -
only turn off by power switch.

Well done Mr Lee. I have been searching for months to find a solution to this remote problem. I have an S10 but loaded
the latest 7/12/2011 FW into the box and that is ok but still no
standby from remote control until I followed your tip. Amazed it works.
Please tell me how you got your info about this?

    regards

    Default standby

That trick doesn't work for older firmware,I tried it with 5-5-2011
Later firmware during the summer had the problem fixed.

well slugworth, I had standby working with the April 11
firmware, but right through until Oct 11 I could not get it back.
I just switched off at the rear.

But this latest FW which was for the skybox works in conjunction with Mr lees tip.

This new FW is the only updated version which I have downloaded that does not have some problem with it.

Now I am looking for a fix to enable me to put in keys for
Seca/Mediaguard/Nag2. At the moment I can only load Crypto and Idto. I need the rest to view RAI encrypted channels which I can with my Technomate box.

I never had a problem with standby after the 5-24 firmware release.
    Forget about nag2 and openbox.
