Since The dreambox's in my house are pretty much useless at the moment, i was wondering if there was a way i could re-use them. I began to wonder wether i could use the dreambox as a DLNA player by connecting it to a dlna server over my home network with some software like TVersity or PS3Mediaserver. i had a look at the thread http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...box-image-488/ but i didnt have a clue on what to do to install a media player with DLNA capabilities after compiling the image. any input would be very much appreciated.

i was hoping someone would of replied to this thread... i have 2 dm500c here at my home, they acting like paper weights.
i was wondering, i have a satellite system running. can I bring in or input my satellite signal and then convert it in such a way that the dm500c would see it and broadcast as if i was getting the signal from a cable provider?
