Hi, I have a 2002 Saturn Vue and need to correct the odometer, the mileage is stored in the BCM (MC68HC908AS60, PLCC52), I have the Xprog-m (clone) and I can read the MCU but I have problems to write the changes, when I try to write the MCU the next error message window is displayed: "write error. continue?".
If I read the MCU and then write the same info all is ok but if I make any change in the bin and try to write, the error window is displayed. I checked twice the connections and already lift the pin 27 (PTA0) and pin 9 (IRQ) and even removed the MCU from the board and it's the same problem: I can only read but no write. Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

It seems that I need to buy another programmer, which one is better option: UPA usb or ETL 908 programmer?
