Your only help will come from here.

Trying to force crack a WPA key will take just over a year on a 2.5GHz quad core system, based on an 8 character key. That's over a year of constant full tilt processing.
Dictionaries don't mean squat, with most routers coming with pre-installed keys you'll be hoping the owner has changed it to a recognised word.

Strange ... why would a newbi come to a sat forum asking for help in turning a wpa handshake into a pass phrase ...

there are forums out there dedicated to backtrack and other wifi hacking software

would probably be a good idea for a mod to delete that link and defiantly not a good idea for anybody to download and check it out.

The whole point is thats its a one way cipher-hash - you cant work backwards so its not possible to decrypt. The only way to cause a match is to encrypt the passphrase and then compare it with the hashed version. Having the hashed version of the passphrase gets you precisely nowhere !

As already mentioned above, most routers will have non-dictionary randomised passphrases pre-installed these days anyway. Your chancef of getting into these using dictionary attacks are pretty remote.

sorry but it is possible ... and the few that really know me from this forum and others will be able to tell you have i have done it.

wifi hacking was a big interest of mine for a few years ... once you have the handshake its just a matter of time ... the right word lists and access to a bit of power ... the main point here been having the right word lists.

Also you both are thinking of dictionary attacks too literately ... the English dictionary is less than 1mb in size in notepad formate ... my wordlists were over 80gb in size ... dictionary just means wordlist ... as with anything its about having the right tools to do the job.

Thanks for the many answers, i was thinking to post the handshake file in hope for a reply with the decrypted key :P.
I have the 33 GB WPA-PSK Rainbow Table, but the wi-fi hacking its not my first passion, i rather loose my time with fishing than to loose sleep in front of the pc nights in row.
