    Default ECU identification for BDM100

    Hi,
    (0 281 014 208)
I want to try to clone the larger of the ecu's in the picture

My BDM100 using 555Pro will not read it.

I don't know it thats because the unit is faulty, or I have the wrong setting or BDM100 will not read this ecu?

I am simply putting the probes on the pads just like I do for the small one in the picture, usingthe same setting ( plugin 006 )

    So please advise.

I can read the smaller one with out any problems, EDC16c3 family.

Check the pads. Maybe bad soldering.
    Or... ecu is dead.
If it's mpc5x it should connect.
