Hi,
I first want to use this Ford VCM unit when connected to the computer gives me this error. What is wrong with you?

If I had to guess. I would say cable from pc to vcm is bad.

Reinstall the operating system was the problem

Hello,
I have same problem.
IDS cannot see VCM. I checked on 2 different PCs. Used other complect of cabeles. No sucsess. So I think problem in VCM hardware.
Any ideas, what I need check in VCM - resistance ets...?

The problem solved was to reinstall windows
