    Default enigma edc16 impossible

    Hello,

    I have the enigma tool since some month. I try to correct mileage on edc16 audi a3 2004. Read correct mileage and when it change, work some minutes and after the mileage not corrected.

    A 9500 euros tool and impossible to change mileage on edc16 of 2004 car. It's the second time who arrived me this problem.

    audi a3 2004 must have edc15. try with edc15 and after change mileage disconect batery from 5min. succes

    2004 have edc 16... I read correct mielage but impossible to modify. Possible uknown version but a tool who cost 9500 euros need to know all versions.

    its never failed for me on any edc16

    sometime i had this problem whit dp3 the last car tuared 2005 year , remove the ecu and read 95320 you can edit this.when you have this problem is because the software version is unkhow for the machine.

    For me never fail too in ECU 15 or 16...

    eXACTLY.. Keep in mind this isnt exact science and while I agree with you for such an expensive device you do expect to do what it says but not everything over obd is always gonna work 100%. Gotta get use to doing some over this manually which is why in the pdf they show 2 ways to accomplish it if the obd program dosent work out for you. At least they dont completely leave you dead in the water.

    Who have open one edc16 ecu ? There is some white glue inside and it's break the pcb and after, car not start.

    In enigma vehicule list, edc15 and edc16 vor vag and audi... it's write all version covered !

    It's very easy to open EDC16. Just use hot air on the edge of the ECU. I did it many times and never break the pcb......

    whith enigma tool you can read the eprom 95320 whithout desolder the eprom dont need desolder .

    Some early versions edc16 cant transfer changes from RAM to EEPROM, You can see something similar on most T5 without any extras.
