Hello are settings for network acquired automatically - ie IP address subnet mask etc.. or do they have to be entered manually?

You can do either .
If you put the DHCP option to on it will do it all for you.
You can set it all up manually if you prefer i just used DCHP plugged it into router and of it went.Ive not tried to connect to box through pc yet though
