    Default Virtmonde HELP!

Sitting at work browsing the internet and suddenly I have alerts saying I have a virus problem, its a works PC so not supposed to download any software but downloaded Spybot as the virus software on the machine wont get rid of the spyware, Spybot picks up Virtumonde.generic, virtumone and virtumonde.sci , having checked for problems and Spybot 'fixes' the problems, on Reboot of the machine the blighters are still there.
Can I fix this without getting my bawls chewed and having to go to our IT dept.

Thanks for any advice in advance

Hi, this is a nasty one i had it and ended up getting a bare bones kit ( it was time for an upgrade anyway) and starting again with a new hard drive, i looked on the internet for fix's found a few but could never get rid of it totally it seems to be wise to the fact that you want to get rid off it and hides itself when you think you have and get on the internet again it re infects again, it also on my comp put its own background on the desktop.

Not what you want to read but that was my experience with it, i still use the old comp as i am still getting my files off it i never connect to the internet though and it is very slow now
