never tested the new galletto clone... but you can't say the original is working great.

I knew that price for new galletto is 3000 + 1000 / year

galetto is not bad at all i would say it is great, but most people do underrate it on forums, i don't know why maybe competence or some other interests.

galetto ori and clone both have advantages.

the ori works and has updates but has also subscription 1.000 euro a year and if you don't pay you cant use anymore edc 17 module, bikes, trucks and boats.

the clone you can not update or can update it limited if the supplier has updates but the subscription never ends and you don't lose modules.

now is your choice what is better for you

X17 is slightly better solution because it has own memory, useful to writing back org file and more secure writing mod file in case that laptop power fails.

But galeto is cheapest solution that includes obd, bdm and boot mode. I heard that now they are working on update for japan machines.

Also yearly update and support for x17 will increase.For galetho is 1k euro.

The thing that put me off an original one was 1) their lack of communication when I emailed them 2) too many reports of failing units and excessive repair charge.

In this game we need reliability, and for me can beat a proven track record.....which I couldn't find for the new galletto.

The price of the new galletto clone is expensive.

Think that you can get a new original galletto with one year subscription incluyed and "support" for a 3000 eur. And You will get a secure updates and secure interface....

X17 its a really great great tool. It works really good.
but if you are thinking in buy new galletto, i advice you that its better buy original
