Some Vcads Pro for Volvo FH12 or NH12 has a function to change parameters or programer the Ecus, i saw 17030 , 17030-1 17030-2 and more but my Vcads don?t, maybe when i use the KeyGen i need click more options, more than t4 ??
Please if somebody know let me know.

It's not only ticking the options, you need to activate the intermediate storage (IS) and have some files inserted inside the intermediate storage. If you have only a normal VCADS keygen, you cannot do this.
There are only a few guys I cane across who are doing it and I have not seen it for share anywhere in this forum or anywhere else. Those guys/companies charge 700-1000 USD to activate 17030-x family of functions, so you can change the speed limit, etc.

I have never seen this option programing ECU, even if it has where you will find map to program the ecu, files like the one in cummins incal.

We need for example change speed limit, with my Vcads i can?t , but i saw other Vcads that have that fuction to change this parameter.

No it's not possible to do it on PTT either. The same story as VCAADS is on PTT, you need to activate Intermediate Storage and do all those tricks, otherwise you can't have access to 17030-xx functions, like speed limit. There is only one guy I know who has done it and not willing to share, he seems to make a living out of it.

If hi is making living out of it he wont share it he will sell it to you, vcads installed on laptop with intermediate storage enabled, so even if you you want to enable intermediate storage on an other laptop you wont know how.

i have tried everything and nothing works , i installed the vcads in my desktop computer anb everything looks ok and on the comm unit configuration i pick the rp1210a adapter
and it givs me the option to pick usb link and set it for j1708 and everything just fine but when i put in my laptop
it installed ok just like on the desktop but when i need to pick the comm adapter on the options menu
rp1210a adapter to put the nexiq
it gives me an error that says
unhandled exception has ocurred
-vccusettn: udcrp1210a.parsedeviceinfo {5} an item with the same key already been added
-vccusettn: udcrp1210a.parsedeviceinfo [1000]failed to parse device
-vccusettn: udcrp1210a.readlnifiles[-] failed to parse ini-file:
c:\windows\hbcomm32.ini
and some more information that has to do with the same problem any help would be realy help full and apreciated thanks in advance

Hi I Was wondering if you can check fault codes on Volvo trucks with VCADS 2.29 ??? I havent tested it yet but just installed VCADS.
