Christmas means many things to many people. If you can avoid the madness which comes with 'failure to plan' syndrome then you have it cracked.

I have a very simple solution which keeps me sane!

Step one: Short sharp bursts of shopping, in and out.

Step two: Invite the inlaws / family around at the same time, this way they all intertain each other while i can disapear?

Step three: Plant some land mines in your garden, a must for unwated visitors!

Now there is no gaurantee this will work for you but its bloody great fun?

    Merry Christmas to all

I,m a cross between Jim Royle ( it's a big swizz !) , and Victor Meldrew (i don't believe it !) , so my missus reckons , on the Christmas front , i think a lot of it is down to me being a 50 + bloke .
I go to a shop to get what i need and get out , a woman goes in and 3hrs later comes out , F**k knows why , i still can't work it out ??.
One of the biggest sellers this year has been sat navs , that people fit in their huge 4 tracks , that trek no further than Tesco's car park !
We become more American each day !
MY GOD I AM VICTOR MELDREW !
    All the best Everyone
    XXXXXX Victor !

    Smile Chrismas is GREAT

I love xmas. The Chrismas dinner is my favorite with all the crackers, party poppers, party hats and i love getting presents for all my family. They also got me some great gifts. you should get into the spirt of chrismas you don't always get to eat dinner with all family at the same time round a big dinning table and enjoy it as well. i mean the food was fantasic this year i know this was my best xmas for long time. So Merry Chrismas to you all and have great and happy New YEAR.
