ISIS/ISTA Help

Hi guys, I have been reading this forum for a while and finally registered . It's rude that my first post is asking for help and not introduction but I promise i will do that later.

My friend got a pc with this specifications:

Core i7 processor
16 GB of Ram
HDD 1TB

He can also also get this:



He want's to try to install and use ISTA. now from what i've seen in this forum first we will need to install ISIS (which acts a server as i found) in VMware and then the rest if possible.

I found ISIS modified iso 2.7.0.31. and a pdf guide for installing it.

Lets say that we manage to install ISIS through VMware, after that what ?

Can you post the exact order of installation and registering?(after isis is installed and registered)
And what dvd software versions did you use.
Where do you install isis launcher ?(on workshop pc OR on isis server?)

Edit: On PC,or VMvare host...not in isis (win2k3)

all led are green
i have installed itools dvd
but i want to install ista D and ista P
what is the procedure for install them?

i have powerconfig error when installation of isid
i dont find NETLOGON share
i find powerconf.exe
but i dont know how i can do for complete install

when installing ista/d 2.26 the package ista pre 009 has an invalid status and fails to install. isid shows updating software but doesnt complete. can anyone help with this?

and some ideas how to fix?
