Good luck to Falkirk this season - a proper good old fashioned, small town club with a proud history and real local supporters. Too many clubs are valued for the size of their support (mostly hangers-on and glory-hunters) but clubs like Falkirk are the heart and soul of the real game.

After a good 2-1 victory against Greenock Morton on Saturday, it's cup time against Rangers again!

Hopefully another good game like the last one but, different winners this time

    Scottish Communities League Cup

    Rangers 3-0 Falkirk

Good start to the game as Falkirk came close to opening the scoring, a cross into the box was directed on target beating the Rangers keeper but unfortunately hitting the woodwork

Rangers went ahead with a powerful header from Lee McCulloch flying past 3 Falkirk defenders

Falkirk had another great chance to score but our striker was crowded out by two Rangers defenders. Not long after that, the next attack by the home side produced a great goal, a slide rule pass to Andy Little through the Falkirk defence and he slotted home with a cool finish to make it 2-0

Falkirk did have another chance about a minute later but the Rangers keeper made a fine save to end the 1st half with a clean sheet.

2nd half and just as Falkirk had a free-kick on goal which narrowly missed, Rangers went up the other end and scored again A mix up between the defender and 'keeper saw the ball fall to Lee McCulloch to rifle home to make it 3-0

The game petered out with the home side keeping the majority of possession until the final whistle.

Good luck Rangers in the next round

If I watch another 1-1 draw I'm going to ****in scream!

3 in a row in which all games were 1-0 in front, had the chance to make it 2-0 and blew them all

At the moment, team need to score 2 goals to make sure of a win, just can't hold on to a lead

Bitter dark side of the forth rivals this weekend so need to win it
