    Default DDEC V Turbo Adjustment

    Hello
    I want to know how to adjust ddec v turbo. I dont have that special ecm for adjustment. All i have is dddl and i know that its possible to adjust turbo by dddl. Thanks.

    wt do you exactly want to adjust in a turbo?actuator length or somthing else?

    Go to dddl diagnostics window.At the bottom of the list it will say turbocharger actuator adjuster routine.

    Default turbo ddec-v

    hi, well here is the procediment to adjust the turbo actuator, i think you need DRS to reprograming the ecm to make adjustment.......

    thank you guys for responds...i dont have test ecm and dont want to re-flash original one. there is easy way to adjust turbo. i have been told this instruction.
    1. warm up engine to 185-190 f
    2. connect dddl and go to diagnostic window.
    3. accelerate engine rpm to 1000 and hold it
    4.egr valve must be closed 11 %, VGT Vanes Actuator 67 %, Boost Pressure 19-20 kPa. Dont pay attention on turbo speed.
    5.if Boost Pressure is less or more then 19-20kpa, turn actuator's rod to get proper boost pressure.

    Some body know about this ? want to make sure i am doing right.

    I did adjustment this way (see above) yesterday..it works...drove loaded truck uphills and in the city. It runs perfect.
    People this is the easy way to adjust turbo...

    I adjusted differnt ways but this seems simple enough.Will try it friend.

    We used a regulator to set the actuator.I think the procedure is in dd service manual.
