DAS installation guide [Updated for 2011]

dear sir.
I'm wrong. what i mean is the computer can't connect the internet event i plug in internet. i'm trying to find SDNC folder but i don't know where is it. Would u please tell me, and what name of file i need to config. Thanks

Have a look at the folder c:\Programme\SDnetControl and rename the file NetworkFilter.exe

Small problem with Xentry 7-2011
fresh XP installation then installed by the following order DAS/XENTRY, WIS STANDALONE, SDMEDIA everything was working. Then installed EPC and now my xentry gives me one error 2221-0
Anybody knows where this came from?

Found the solution in another forum sorry for jumping the gun asking.
The solution couldn't be more simple:

After install xentry 07-2011 go to F:Programme/xentry/bin and delete file StarmodeWrapper.ini and xentry should bee work now in my case works perfect

Strange, mine works with the file as it was after installation. Did you try to figure out which setting at that ini-file? Which AppId is your installation using?

Deleted StarmodeWrapper.ini
I haven't had any time to test in car maybe tomorrow but this was the first of many versions installing all software (allwasy from scratch) that only had one minor setback this xentry error reported.

EDIT
Now I deleted the line and Xentry opens fine.
Anybody that has installed and didn't deleted this file can post please contents of properties.xml.

I created the file from code posted.

Tested today in real cars (three smarts) and it was all ok including programing keys with old smartcalc

The New guide does not replace any files in assocition of being able to use the old smart tan calc

MB have gone back to the old algo

ok m8 i have
1. delete F:Programme/xentry/bin/StarmodeWrapper.ini

xentry start but without icons in the middle left side

2. i return StarmodeWrapper.ini and copy DB_memebr file to C:\Programme\SDnetControl\properties.xml

xentry fail 2221-0

3. i have the error only if i dont start SDNC

4. if i starup SDNC (with larg icon on systray) then xentry wake up and work with all icons and etc

...?

9.2011 is just around the corner, so before we get the usual ****ers claiming that they have it working, you'll will find that parts (if not all of the guide) still applies.In fact you will probably find that it will do so until MB decide to make changes that prevent the mods from working.The most important part is the way the key is accepted, so those who are now selling solutions for 5.2011 never did so before the guide was released.
