    Default x prog m atmega64

    Hi Guys
Is there a way I can check if I have blown the Atmega64 in a cloned x prog m .I keep getting the message "Device is silent " ,this happened after the message " Vcc pin overloaded ". With the help of a fellow DK member I have over ridden the mcu control of the power supply and have all the correct voltages , but still " Device is silent " when pressing the read button ?

The unit was working untill I did something silly like putting power to the ecu I was trying to read , do you still think that a setting could be causing this ( I dont have the unit wiyh me to check it now ) ?

and for sure if you select high setting you will get ""device is silence"

I have some more information regarding my problem with X Prog m . All the oscillators are running , the pc detects the x prog and all dc voltages and gnds are there .Could it be that the program in the atmagi64 is corrupt ?

If there is no protecton from VCC to the Atmega it is possible the pin to be dead. All MCU pinouts are only to 5V or 3,3V for some L series.

Fcuk latency , programmer will be recognised even without the atmel chip. So you screwed up the atmega. Update the firmware with xprogbox software if everything goes well your atmega should be ok (hardware point of view) at least. After that pay Darius 19 euro to reflash it back to xprogm 5.0 version and share the software Darius gave you
