I'm starting to get more into automotive electronics and things like IMMO removal, so I've bought a few engine ecu's and airbag ecu's that have problems...eg locked out, seed key error, crash data. For me to practice eeprom removal and programming on.

I've done a few searches on here and spent hours looking at recommendations and things, and I'm looking at buying these.

Do you think they would be sufficient for a novice/beginner to learn with? And would the programmers cover enough of the common eeproms?

Also is there any data sheets/software which has a list of what are the main editing eeproms in the ECUs? Like the which is the immo, dpf, crash data, mileage, etc?

I mainly do french cars and vauxhall/opel atm
