Take the warnings seriously. Chineese made goods are not all good but I am happy that I bought such a device that failed because it has sparked a new interest for me in trying to repair it . I am currently searching and learning all about programming the Atmega64 (Hint hint ) .Back to you ,welcome to the the interesting world of automotive electronics and you will find that you are in the right forum with so many experienced people that
unselfishly share solutions to so many problems .Good luck ,regards
