It was only unidentified because it wasn't known what it was at the time, not some alien coming to visit. I have no idea why one would visit Earth anyway, it's not like it's a good place for holidays or anything.

Back on topic though. In all the vastness of space and the number of planets that exist out there we'd have to be very arrogant to believe that we were the only planet that contained life. However how advanced that life is, whether it is capable of space travel and whether it really would want to visit us is another matter altogether. Would you travel to a planet where you knew that if you made contact you'd likely be dissected ? If they already know that then why would they come here unless to plunder the Earth? Perhaps our nearest space travelling aliens aren't that nice.

Yes I've seen 2 around 3 years ago and made a report to the Police. The first one was too bizarre for words and the second was a black triangle that slowly drifted over the car with a light under each apex, no noise, very slow.
