Okay yes it is great to change the hardware serial number but would it not be easier to alter / change the software by editing it and reloading it on the micro card? I have a universal standard X431 software which works on any Launch X431 but only the older type machines. I sell the Diagun and would love to give my customers regular updates......

Both method are hard to do.
You have two choices.
1. To change S/N in smartbox
2. To change S/N in softwear.
Both aren't easy.

Hey guys, here you will find how to change a serial number on most x431 devices, i don't know about newer ones but i have been able to change and update the serial number of one gx3 and another x431 tool today.

open up the launch and read the MPU on board "W77LE58" inside you will find the serial number and u can change it to whatever you want, if you can't do that, just send me your serial number and the file, i will edit it and send back to you

I use TOP programmer but anyother programmer will do, beeprog etc.

Hi mate - So can this be done without chip removel? I am told they do it that way in China if there any good anyways.
YES some sellers do sell chip to resolder with new Serial number but I know it can be done without soldering etc.
BUT I have no idea how to connect the smart box to get to the serial etc?>?
Willing to advise whats needed etc?

Need name command or program for renumber S/N.

You have to sure in which chip it is stored the S/N and then will be solution
For GX3 we just know, in Diagun we aren't pretty sure.
The there is few solution for programmers and softwear.

But is not working. Seem software problem.

I have 2 quetions:
1)Does any body cans help me with new update for Heavy Trucks? Or cars?

2) Can I install Trucks and cars software update on the same flash card?
