How to install DAS 09/2011 successfuly? --> Solution

This is only a collection of fixes that made me install DAS 09/2011 properly. All credits to other people.

First I would strongly recommend maher Oct. XP iso to install Windows. (Please don't ask for the torrent). It's already updated with no problems.

1. Partition and install Windows XP as Guide2h here:

2. Update Windows XP device drivers.

3. Create a Ghost image for your hard disk. (In case if you missed something while installing DAS 09/2011. It will save you much time).

Copy DAS 09/2011 DVD contents (NOT the ISO file) to a folder then delete the folder Partitioning from the copied contents. (It's inside stardiag folder).

5. From DAS 07/2011 DVD copy Partitioning folder to the copied contents of DAS 09/2011 DVD so you will have all of the DAS 09/2011 DVD contents except that Partitioning folder is replaced from DAS 07/2011 DVD.

6. Create an ISO image for your new copied DAS 09/2011 contents using a sutable utility. (I used MagicISO). Don't try to install it from a shared folder because it'll not work.

7. Set your DAS and Xentry keys from STAR UTILITIES.

8. Mount the created ISO file and Install DAS.

10. Search how to run DAS without Xentry.

11. Install Xentry.

12. Extract the attached file to fix photos in Xentry to the F: drive.

13. Run C:\Programme\OnlineUpdateBG\oubg.exe to download and install the remaining addons. (If it didn't start wait for a while then try again. Don't worry it will start later).

14. After all addons are installed rename oubg.exe to oubg!.exe so it doesn't bother you about the update if there is no Internet connection. (You can rename it back to oubg.exe anytime you want to get the updated addons if available). Or simply you can set Online Update BG Schedulin Service service to Manual.

15. Install No Password in Special Function from here:

17. Finally, do you want to run DAS for lifetime? Extract the attached file to F: dive just as you did to fix Xentry photos.

There is no need to modify the partition folder, it would only complicate things for the novice.

I tried that without modifying it but it quits.

DAS lifetime is now included.

Try making the computer's year to 2013 and start DAS as from your fix.

I thanked you because you are contributing to my post and pointing to something that looks useful. I'm not sure what you are aiming to but I have no boss.

I tried DAS 09/2011 without replacing the partition folder and it didn't work showing me a report about improper partitions.

I tried an Xentry key that expired on 2099 and had Xentry work lifetime unlike DAS that needed that file.

Finally I'm spending time to aggregate posts to facilitate the installation, do you see that a wrong thing?
