    Default WINDOWS 98 SE

    H? guys , I have problem with my PC , it is an Windows 98se 500 mhz, DOS 6.22

    The problem is when works with DOS program, message error is ( RUN TIME ERROR 200 ) .

    HOW TO DO ?
    SOME IDEA ?

    i've been look at this error and many people think its the proccessor running faster than the program thant creates this error

    did u know u can run dosbox on windows xp vista and 7 ?

    I doubt it would run too well on a 500Mhz PC, XP would probably just about (depending on how much RAM) but Win7 almost certainly wouldn't even install on such old hardware.

    Which program do you have a problem with or is it all DOS programs ?

    Unfortunately Win98 wont run a lot of newer DOS type programs as they really aren't DOS mode but windows NT with a command line interface.

    Also, the error message likely depends on what was used to compile your programs, for instance, 'run time error 200' was a message produced by the old Borland compiled programs to describe a divide by zero error. That can be caused by a number of things including program corruption and missing libraries.
