    Default Remove FAP/DPF Focus EDC16

    Hi!

I would like to remove FAP from this ECU. I read a few threads about it and I read the EcuSafe can do it but writing back the flash maybe destroy the injectors coding. Some people says BDM works ok with writing back. I use BDM100 for this.

ECUSafe doesnt write back anything, its just a tool that trys to modify the ecu dump

you need another tool, i.e. bdm etc etc to read the ecu in the first place

natrually you want something that can calucate the checksum for the desired ecu or you'll also have to invest in something like winols etc

Are you serious??????? Read my post again please. I mean writing back the flash, let's say MPPS, but I said I use BDM 100. And I know EcuSafe is just a program to modify the dump......
