    Default My pc shows CMOS error what is this?

    from some days my pc is showing CMOS error i want to know what is this. after this error my computer has been very slow and does not want any passward.
    Before this error i was always type my password before log in.
    please tell me in detail.

    it is possible to be a virus but more than likely your CMOS battery requires changing

    Is the time and date correct in BIOS? If not, the CMOS battery needs replacing

    its a battey problem. change it

    change the internal battery.

    Change the battery on the motherboard.
